Candy is an unknown pony breed that came into the rescue because she was found living in a garbage dump. Estimated to be 7 yrs old, she is a large mini or small pony size. Although little, she is mighty. She’s about mid totem pole in turn out, although she’s convinced we humans are just here for scratches and cookies.
She came to us with sarcoids that don’t seem to effect her ability to love everyone she meets in addition to needing corrective trimming due to a “ski hoof” over growth due to her neglect for an unknown amount of time.
Candy has been exposed to dogs, children and resident Ham Wilbur Pig. She's turned out with both mares and geldings.
