There are no limitations to who can volunteer!
People with or without horse experience are needed. If you would like to learn more about horses and their care and have time to help out, we would be happy to teach you.
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their Parent or legal guardian to attend the initial volunteer training orientation. Anyone 12 years and older may volunteer without a parent AFTER they have completed the initial orientation training program. Children under 12 may volunteer only if a parent volunteers by their side and provides supervision at all times.
All volunteers must sign a liability waiver (A parent or legal guardian must be present & sign a liability waiver form for anyone under the age of 18). All volunteers wishing to participate in the hands-on volunteer training session MUST wear closed toe shoes or boots. We welcome volunteers of all ages and skill sets as well as groups (girl scouts, etc.), schools and community service programs.
Pre-registration is required for the hands-on volunteer training orientation session. Contact us today to sign you or your group up.
